What is an emergency?

Not all dental problems are emergencies. Only problems of which a treatment can not wait till the next day or till after the weekend, can be called emergencies.

No emergency

Lost fillings, a broken tooth or loose crowns/bridges, are no emergencies. These are just discomforts.

Emergency

Infections with fever, a knocked-out tooth due to an accident or a bleeding after a dental treatment, are emergencies.
